It is used to treat advanced breast cancer (HER2-positive) that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic). It slows down/ stops the growth of cancer cells.

¿¿ In women, during the postmenopausal stage, Lapatinib is prescribed in combination with a hormonal medicine called Letrozole.
After Effects:
Shortness of breath, persistent diarrhoea, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, fluttering in your chest, chest pain, nausea, wheezing, bleeding nose, sore mouth, issues in finger nails, toe nails, pain or redness on the palms of your hands, or the soles of the feet, rashes, itching, dry skin, acne, thin hair, headache, vomiting, etc.

Precautions:
¿¿ Hertab can cause fatal liver issues, tell your doctor if you have stomach pain, itching, dark urine, clay-colored stools, or jaundice.
¿¿ Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the ingredients of the tablet or you have the medical history of heart, kidney, liver, an electrolyte imbalance (fluctuations in the levels of potassium and magnesium in the blood).
¿¿ The medicine is restricted for pregnant ladies, planning for pregnancy, breast feeding mothers.
¿¿ Take the tablet on empty stomach at least one hour before or after the meal.
¿¿ Do not crunch, bite, or chew the tablet. Swallow the tablet as a whole at once at a time.
